*Ensure candle is placed on a stable heat-resistant surface 
*Never leave a lit candle unattended 
*Trim wicks before each lighting to prevent soot buildup and smoke 
*Burn only 2 hours at a time 
*Keep candles away from flammable items and windows 
*Keep candles away from children and pets 
*Make sure flame is not too high 
*Discard candle when it reaches 1/2 inch of the container
